Depart from the pier and board your motor coach for Alexandria. An approximately 3.5 hour’s drive until you reaches Alexandria.
Lying northwest of the Nile Delta, Alexandria is the largest port in the Arab republic of Egypt and one of the major summer resorts on the Mediterranean Sea. Drive through the colorful streets of Alexandria.
Visit the intriguing Catacombs of Kom el Shoqfa, an extensive three level funerary complex dating from the 2nd century A.D. Afterwards stop for a photo opportunity at the Qait Bey Fort built on the original site of the Pharos Lighthouse, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Continue to the nearby Mosque of Abu El Abbas, one of Alexandria’s Islamic landmarks. Next, proceed to the Bibliotheca Alexandria, one of the most unusual architectural masterpieces of the 21st century. Marvel at the ultra modern interiors as a library guide takes you through Alexandria’s crown jewel. Admire the Scrolls and the Antiquities Museum of the Library and continue to Montazah Gardens to see the summer palace of the former king of Egypt. Drive along the beachfront boulevard on the return trip to the ship, followed by a visit to a Papyrus Institute where the procedure of manufacturing the oldest paper in the world, an art discovered by the Ancient Egyptians, will be demonstrated for you.

Going inside catacomb of Kom El Shoqafa is through spiral staircase with approximately 100 wide steps , due to catacomb musty and humid conditions , visitors suffering from asthma or claustrophobia not recommended to go inside .
